Finally in Indy!


Today marks the first day of the 2010 Junior National Hereford Expo held in Indianapolis, Indiana. Queen orientation begins at p.m. in Meeting room #4 of the Blue Ribbon Pavilion. This year we are privileged to have Debbie Wiley as our guest speaker. Debbie lives in Carmel Indiana with her husband Mark and they have enjoyed raising 5 children and are now experiencing the joys of grandparenting, with grandbaby #7 being born on Mother’s Day.Debbie works at WTHR- Channel 13in Indianapolis, as the Executive Assistant to thePresident and General Manager and earned a degree from Butler University in Journalism and Communications. Debbie has worked for a professional modeling agency and the Indiana Cotillion Society as an instructor. She is a very experienced judge within many pageant systems including judging the Indiana State Fair Queen pageant in 2008, the Kentucky State Fair, the Mrs. Kentucky Pageant and within the Miss America Organization. Debbie won the titles of Mrs. Indiana America and Mrs. Indiana USA. Debbie has been seen as an on camera talent for WFYI Public Television during all of their fundraising campaigns. She is the Co-Executive Director of the Miss Central Indiana Pageant, a preliminary to the Miss Indiana Pageant and she currently serves as the President of the Local Directors Association.

Be on the look out this week for the official queen T-shirts which the young ladies will be wearing when they are not busy in the show ring handing out awards and prizes!
